Meet kimberly,
the heart and soul behind Forest Shadows Pet Resort. Kimberley's journey into the world of caring for our beloved furry friends began in Orange County, California, where she grew up with a deep love and passion for animals. As a child, she dreamt of becoming a veterinarian and a teacher, and her path eventually led her to the University of Redlands, where she earned her BA in Education and Master's degree in Administration.
For a decade, Kimberley dedicated herself to the field of education, teaching in the Redlands Unified School District and nurturing young minds. She found joy in creating meaningful connections with her students, fostering their love and appreciation for animals through education.
Life took an exciting turn when Kimberley and her family relocated to Magnolia, Texas. There, she embraced new opportunities as an Assistant Principal for two years, followed by the role of principal for three years in the Conroe Independent School District. During her tenure, she discovered her passion for working with Labradors and even competed in events, showcasing her dedication and love for these remarkable animals.
It was during this time that a beautiful need emerged—pet owners were entrusting Kimberley to care for their puppies while they traveled. Recognizing this growing demand and armed with her expertise, compassion, and unwavering love for all creatures, Kimberley realized it was time to open a Five Star Pet Resort. Thus, Forest Shadows Pet Resort came to life 20 years ago.
Now, Kimberley's days are filled with pure bliss as she works side by side with furry companions, providing a haven where pets are pampered and cherished. Her years of experience, combined with her genuine love and dedication, ensure that every pet entrusted to Forest Shadows Pet Resort receives the utmost care, attention, and affection.
